The Homeschool Sailing Program is a school-year course designed specifically for homeschool students. It combines sailing instruction, STEM learning, and environmental exploration in a fun, hands-on, outdoor classroom.
This progressive program follows the US Sailing curriculum, starting with basic seamanship, rigging, and safety for beginner sailors. Throughout the year, students build confidence and skills that can lead to a lifelong love of sailing. For experienced sailors, the program offers continued advancement with a focus on refining techniques, sail trim, boat handling, and navigation. The students get to explore the local waterways, islands and sandbars we sail around and learn about how to become better stewards for our environment.
