ILCA Development Team
Recommended for sailors 110–140lbs
The ILCA (International Laser Class Association) dinghy is a single-handed sailboat designed for sailors ready to take the next step beyond the Optimist class. This program is best suited for sailors in the 110–140lb range who are confident sailing solo and are looking to further develop their racing and boat handling skills.
The ILCA offers a more physically demanding and performance-oriented experience, helping sailors advance their tactical awareness, sail trim, and control in a variety of wind conditions.
Pre-requisite: Prior experience in Opti Green or RWB (Red, White, Blue) fleet is recommended before transitioning into the ILCA.
