Home School Learn to Sail Program
Thursdays 1pm - 4pm
Available for ages 8-13
(Younger/Older aged sailors are subject to Director approval)
No experience required! Each sailor learns how to captain their own Optimist Pram and all the basic sailing knowledge that goes with it. This a progressive sailing program through the US Sailing Organization where your beginner sailor will start on the first day with basic seamanship and learn throughout the year to grow to have sailing as a life long sport. We will also explore our environment that surrounds us, explore STEM in sailing and learn how to become better stewards for our waterways and oceans.
$600 for Full year

Sailors MUST be able to swim 50 yards. A swim test will be giving the first day. Sailors need to arrive each day prepared to sail! We require each sailor to bring:
· Refillable Water Bottle
· Snack (No refrigeration is available on site)
· U.S. Coast Guard Approved Type III Life Jacket (Personal Flotation Device) with whistle attached
· Closed-Toe Shoes to be worn at all times!! (No Crocs or Flip-Flops allowed on land or on water)
· Sunscreen
